6. I'm not sure what year this was, but if more current that could always be a text number app where you can also make calls and change your number to basically whatever you want. People use familiar numbers to mess with people they know, its very common these days with pranks and such

I've gotten calls from my own landline before as well. And I would always get blank voicemails as well. But not blank as in some picking up and holding the receiver for a few seconds then hanging up, but blank as in dead silence for a good thirty seconds to a min. I couldn't think of any way that would be able to happen or why. Nevertheless unsettling however or why it was happening.
The landline telephones were connected to lines (I know, duh), and there were telephones that the people that worked on the lines could plug in straight to the wire and if you were tech savvy enough, you could use the number.
