I once met an electrician in Winnipeg that helped built the SkyDome. He said him and his buddies used to break off the valves on compressed gas bottles and launch them into the lake!! I still don't believe him though, I doubt they fly very far.

The best part about this video is the music.
It was named by the People of this city! Actually a contest was held to come up with a name for this(at the time) very unique and the only one in the World to have the option to open and close the roof. And for all those reasons it is and ALWAYS will be! The Skydome!! (Microphone drops to the floor) I'm out of here!
It's the Skydome from when TO had character, not today's pastiche of corporate gentrified spots.
You almost can’t tell that it started to pour right after the roof opened and that construction stopped for 3 months because the unions shut down concrete deliveries the summer before it opened. . .
Was very proud to work here when it was the Dome, one of the best places to work. Our family still get together and hang out with each other.
Will probably always hold the distinction of being the only stadium to host an X-rated sideshow during a game.
