You have to be careful all-round. Get good insurance. Rent a small car. I was in the hotel pool., as I got up off the tile bench, I felt a sharp pinch but it was when I tried to use my leg it didn't respond. Turned out the pool cleaner using the long pipe brush would continuously hit the tile bench cracking the tiles on the bottom edge and making sharp shards. I severed the tendon behind my knee. The 4-hour operation, one month in bed and another month on crutches. The hotel only paid for the hospital bill AFTER we hired a lawyer and got the cops involved, otherwise they refused to answer our telephone calls. I had to extend our stay and rebook another flight home which is all money that they DIDN"T pay. Happy trails
